 +Overwhelmed by indiscriminate surveillance, digital harassment, or security leaks of personal identification? You are not alone! Our cryptoparties at Brooklyn Library are a space for people of all technical skills to share skills and learn from each other about online privacy protection.

 +Some parts of the internet feel like a dark and unruly place, but some of the biggest threats appear the most innocuous. This month CyPurr will discuss Dark Designs, and how web companies trick users and undermine consent. From fake "download buttons" to vague terms of service, we will review what to look out for online. Afterwards, we'll review tools for you web browser and describe how "mesh" internet works.

Additionally, we offer personal security audits for groups/organizations who are concerned about their cyber-safety. Plus, we have some of the kewlest CryptoParties!
