This event features a drop-in workshop for kids, where they can learn about how ciphers have been used to send secret messages since ancient times. They will be able to encode their own messages, and learn about how basic cryptography works and why it's important in the modern world. ==== WHO SHOULD COME? ==== We welcome everyone, of all ages and levels of technical knowledge. Total beginners, the curious, and those with expertise are especially encouraged to drop by. ==== NEED MORE INFORMATION? ==== This event is part of [[https://intersections.io|Inter/sections]], a week-long series of events exploring the Politics and Ethics of Technology (learn more at [[https://intersections.io|intersections.io]]).
