Learn how to use encryption, privacy and anonymity tools to protect your privacy online! These workshops are free and open to people of all technical levels.

Topics we cover include anonymity with Tor, encrypted email, good password habits, disk encryption, mobile phone security, encrypted messaging apps like Signal and Wire, free and open source software and hardware.

After the talks we will divide into groups, each focusing on a different topic or tool.

• Tools for end-to-end encrypted messaging (Signal, OTR/XMPP, etc.)
• Email encryption with PGP/GnuPG
• Anonymity with Tor and Tails
• Privacy focused browser add-ons, ad blockers, etc.
• Passwords and password managers
• Disk encryption
• Mobile phone security
