Cryptoparties should ideally have a rather varied group attending. Mainly, it is a means for activists, journalists and the general public to learn how to use crypto in practise, meaning invitations should go out to:

• Media organisations based nearby
• Activist groups of various kinds
• Human rights organisations (e.g. Amnesty)
• Other groups who rely on secure communications (lawyers, psychologists, priests, doctors)
• Computer- and crypto-savvy people who can assist in teaching, e.g. the local hackerspace or LUG
