Cryptoparties are a space for people of all technical skills to share skills and learn from each other about online privacy protection. ​

For decades people have taken advantage of this fact to launch elaborate scams over telephone, email, and social media. These tactics normally are deployed to gain money, information,​ or simply harass people. This workshop will focus on tips to spot potential scammers and skills to keep your data, funds, and sanity secure. ​
